Default Is this a good price for a 2008?

I am currently a C5 owner and was looking at the following:

2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
3,069 miles
Auto/Paddle
3LT
Navigation
Magnetic Ride
Dual Mode Exhaust

Price: $47,995.00 Sticker was $69,315.00

I have been pricing new and used and they are all over the place.
Figured best place to go is to the people who own them. Also, how do you like the C6? Thanks for your opinions!!!

Seems pretty good to me. Probably listed for about $66,000 new, would have GMS price of $12,000 off a few months ago and another $6,000 off for being used would put $48,000 about right.

If it's from a dealer that is a fair price, get a car fax for peace of mind. I bought a used 2008 vert and am completely surprised what a better car than the c5, better ride, no rattles very fast and the bonus 29mpg @ 55mph.

Price on that loaded Vert seems pretty good and I still own my C5 and like it for its on the road feel better, though I love my C6 for a DD and the factory increase in HP is a good thing

Sounds good! Since a similar 09 would go for around $59k or so .

Disagree with carfax's statement at the end though at least for vehicles with low mileage. I would want to know why the previous owner got rid of the car.

Sounds like a reasonable price to me. Go for it. You won't regret it.

As someone that has bought alot of used exotics, DON'T just rely on a carfax. They can be beat.

If someone buys a car with say 3000 on the OD, disconnects it and puts 100,000 more miles on it then reconnects it and drives it up to 6,000 and has it serviced, guess what? Carfax thinks the vehicle has only 6,000 miles on it and it's fine.

Also, if wrecked or totaled and NOT reported to insurance or the police and fixed, guess what? Carfax thinks the car has never seen an accident.

Whether local or not, hire an independent mechanic to give it the once over and check things Carfax has no idea of like cylinder compression. It will be the best $150 you spend and could save you tens of thousands of the vehicle is a prettied up lemon......
