Well, I liked the look of my Victory Red coupe...until I pulled up alongside another red sports car. It made my car look burgandy...which is not what I wanted Torch red should be the only red on a sports car

I did not care for it when I saw it in person at the museum, just did nothing for the C6 lines as the engineers stated back in 2004 when decideing C6 colors. Victory red is a good color of red.

Torch red is an amazing cop spotter color. You can see it coming from a long way off. I love the color but I don't think I want that kind of visability if you know what I mean.

If a bright red is what you want, Torch Red is a good choice. Not my cup of tea, I vastly prefer my Monterey Red.
But you know, that's why they offer choices. I'm glad they add some new colors from time to time, still wish they would bring back a nice dark green for a year or two. I like the new Grand Sport, and TR looks good on it. Maybe a bit TOO Ferrari-esque, if anything, and that's not bad company for a Chevy.

Our C5 was Torch and our C6 is Victory. I saw the original Torch C6 when it was at the Museum. So...
When the light is dimmer (cloudy or early/late in the day), Torch looks a little better. During normal daytime lighting, the Torch looks too orange and a little washed out.
I wouldn't refuse to buy a new Vette over the issue, but I definitely prefer Victory.
