How do you react?
My second story has me on the other end of this scenario. I was coming out of the mall and notice an Audi R8 parked on the lot. This was before a lot of them were even released yet. I walk over to it and lean over the back to look at the engine. It is in the rear with a plexiglass window for those who didn't know. I never touched the car and even made a point to hold my jacket so as the zipper wouldn't rub against the car as I leaned over. Suddenly the lights blink and I hear, "Touch it and I'll kill you." I turn and see a gentelman and lady, mid 40s, walking towards the car. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that he was joking,(i'd love to see him try it) I laughed and said nice car. He walks right passed me without even acknowledging me and gets into the car. What a f*cking ***. I so badly wanted to follow him onto the highway and deflate his ego with my C6. As he was pulling out I noticed dealer plates on the car. So it probably wasn't even his car.
So I agree that the situation should dictate your reaction. Just look at the Audi guy. Would you want people to get that impression of you if it's not justified?
