Default Gas with no ethanol

I found a gas station that has NO ethanol. Most of the stations in my area have 10% ethanol. I have been getting 16 MPG in the city, but with the no ethanol gas I am getting 17.5 to 18 MPG. Has anyone else used no ethanol gas and gotten better milage?

You should get better mileage with less/no ethanol. Ethanol is not an efficient fuel.

Gas prices have fallen to the point that Ethanol is more expensive is gas. So producers are leaving out the Ethanol because its cheaper. When Crude climbs back up they will start putting ethanol in again.

Can't do that if the state requires it. Plus the terminals don't care as it all becomes the cost of the product anyway. Ethanol is not mixed with the gas by the producer or when the gas moves through a pipeline. It is only mixed at the terminal when a truck is loaded for delivery

I was told that here in Texas it was delivered via an additional tanker truck

I believe some states require ethanol year round while others require it only in summer months. I remember once in arizona reading a notice that was posted at the pump. Maybe someone will chime in.

Several BP stations in my town, some with Ethanol, some without. I use the one without.

I found that Texaco stations here put on their pumps that their gas contains no ethanol, and they also have Techron. I used to buy Chevron, but most of them have closed.

Two Phillis 66 stations in Boise area. I am thankful. Ethanol is a bad idea and bad policy.

In all areas it is either delivered by tanker truck, barge, or railcar. At the present time there are no pipelines that can ship the product (some are being planned). It is stored then at the terminal and added to the gas just prior to delivery.

I have been getting non-ethanol at an Exxon and definitely am getting better mileage. Two miles per, overall, with my Colorado and have not driven the Corvette enough to check it yet. I was surprised to find the non-eth, for a while this station was touting it on their marquee.

It's funny...In Oklahoma, many stations make a big deal out of "No Ethanol" in their stations. They have signs out front and on the pumps.

Here in Arizona we have an insane propriatary blend during several summer months. Can't get away from it and it is mixed specificaly for AZ. Costs more, is less efficient, and my motorcycle hates it.
