DBS and RCDLRM reprogram / re-flash question
I want to reprogram / re-flash my car because of frequent "Dead Battery Syndrome" and I also want to re-flash my FOB program. My question is what's the module or modules called? I will need this info before I go to my local dealer. (My dealer never worked on a C6 before)
To my understanding Canadian cars have a different Re-flash program for the FOB module.. "Canadian Car"" ...................

Look up in FAQ's for info on this.Although I don't know if any Canadian info will be there.Give this link a shot too.

Re-flashing my BCM will probably fix my DBS.... What module do I re-flash to fix my Fob issues?

It has done so on other Vettes.Not sure if it's the ECM or BCM,but one of those.I've only heard of less then a handful of people it hasn't worked for.Good luck.I'm sure somebody who knows more then me will chime in eventually.

I went to my dealer today and he said he has to reflash my ECM. So away he went. The first three downloads didn't take (15 mins per download). On the fourth try, the program took.
Then my key Fobs didn't work. No program in BCM... He downloaded a new program but he had to perform a "Theft Deterrent something something?" . $180.00 later now all my key fobs work. I hope it fixes my DBS problem.
