Default Good news for PAL owners - we have XM1 AND XM2!

Some potential owners have been concerned about losing their six XM2 stations when the PAL is installed. But I learned today that there is an easy way to access the six XM1 and the six XM2 stations.

If you are in XM1 and press the Disc 1-6 button on the steering wheel, you will cycle through the six XM1 stations. If you continue to press the Disc 1-6 button, you will go into XM2 and all six XM2 stations show up on the Nav screen. You can use them as normal.

If you are in XM2 and press the XM1/2 soft key, it will put you back in XM1. If you are in XM1 and press the XM1/2 soft key, you go into the PAL Ipod mode and the six buttons change to the Ipod PAL buttons.

So it seems we have the best of both worlds. To get into Ipod mode, just press the XM1/2 soft key. To get into XM2, use the steering wheel Disc 1-6 button when in XM1 mode.

That is GREAT news. I was kind of bummed that I was going to lose 6 pre set stations and wasn't going to get the PAL.

Gene will be getting my order shortly!!

Thank you very much for posting this!!
