Traction Control/Active Handling Button
OK, lets see if I have this straight (after reading the manual)...
1.Push the button once turns off traction control leaving the active handling system on.
2.Push and hold button for 5 seconds which turns off active handling AND traction controll.
3.Push the button for twice in 5 seconds puts you in competitive driving mode which turns off traction control but leaves on active handling.
How is # 1 different from #3? Am I not understanding the manual or is it confusing?
Thanks in advance!

It's a little confusing. In Comp Mode the AH is still on but in a reduced form so it's less intrusive. Here is an explanation that Talon90 posted before, hope it helps:

When you start the car everything is on.
First press and release of the button is T/C OFF
Second press and release is COMP mode (T/C off, A/H reduced)
Press and HOLD is T/C & A/H both OFF.
The DIC will state which mode you are in.

I'd also pay attention to what the display reads in the DIC as you press the buttons (especially if you have the F55 suspension). When I used the F55 suspension I vaguely recall a slightly expanded sequence of readings as I pressed the button and went through the available modes. After I went to a coil-over suspension and disabled the F55 system it seemed to reduce the number of times I needed to press the button to cycle through the modes and return to TC/AH on.
I don't know if this was an incongruity with my car or not. Perhaps someone else with the F55 suspension can verify this.
