I am looking for some ideas on rubber floor mats to go over the stock carpet mats or to replace the carpet ones for my 08 C6 Coupe.Any ideas?
Thanks.

I bought clear ones that are smooth on top to put over my Llyods mats and really like them. Great protection, but I can still see the color and logos of the mats.

Lloyd makes a decent rubber mat for the C6 (http://www.lloydmats.com/rubbertite.htm)

The mats aren't that expensive. I just replace mine every few years. I keep in mind that I live in L.A. and we don't really get the bad weather that aides in messing up the mats. I also own a carpet cleaner. It cost about the same price as the mats.

Nice Color Swiftrider 08- I have the same only with ebony interior.

Do the clear ones just lay on top of the carpet ones-I mean to they attach to the clip like the factory ones or do they move around alot on top of the carpet mats?

They just lay ontop but they have little (dare I say it) "****" on the bottom that stick into the carpet mat. Have never had to adjust the passenger side, but I do have to pull the drivers side back from time to time. maybe about every 10th time of getting in the car. You tend to put alot of weight on the mat and push it slightly forward when getting in the car. No big deal. I think they are great and just a quick wipe with a damp rag and they are clean. I don't get in the car with wet or muddy shoes, so I was not worried about having channels in the mats, just wanted to protect what was under them.

Both Mid America and Corvette Central carry them. I think about $30 a pair.

I just bought the weathertech digital fit. They make the cargo mat also. They are a little pricey but in my book they are the way to go.

I have the clear mats in both my Vettes. They come custom cut, to fit perfectly.

Not a popular choice of most Corvette owners, but I like them. I can't stand soiled floor mats.

Black & tan Cocomats on our Cashmere interior. Don't show the dirt and easy to remove and shake out occasionally.
Stock mats, unprotected, get ugly quick in Cashmere.

That's my pick too. I actually made the pattern for the C6 for them. They are tough as nails....rubber on the back and sisal fiber on top...heavy as heck and will not slide even when laid over the stock mats (which is what I do).

We live in a farm environment so I ordered Husky brand rubber floor mats for my '07 and love them. Fit like a glove and I might have put them directly over my carpet mats. Special order from Cabela's for maybe $60. These are the same mats you see in many pickups and they don't look out of place in my Corvette. Model and year specific.

All the crap stays right on the mat and they work great. No more carpet for me and clean up is a breeze.

What he said. They have a "dish " design that makes them easy to clean and the whole floor pan area stays clean, not just where your feet are ! www.tsetruckstuff.com

Hey Dude, you stole my floor mats!

In the 2006 with Titanium interior, the stock carpet and mats were Ebony; so I only used the Cocomats during the winter.
But on the 2009 with Cashmere interior including carpet and mats, I put the Cocomats in immediately and only take them out to clean 'em.

I just recently purchased the GM Lloyds signature series rubber floor mats with C6 logo and Corvette lettering. Nice mats and perfect fit.! Mine uses the snap vs hook fasteners.

Here's a pic:

My C6 parks under an open air carport every night (no garage), so this is what I've been using for the last 9 years. Use them instead of the OEM mats.

Check out WeatherTech Floor Liners.

Top quality along with perfect fit, keeping dirt and water from getting on the carpeted surfaces.

I recently bought the Lloyd rubber mats mentioned above, as well as the rear cargo mat. Fit and finish are superb. These are not like the $29 rubber mats at Wal-Mart; these dudes are very stout!
