Change my own oil? On aircraft or automobiles? Yup, done both, and I've probably forgotten more than you've ever known about engines.

Yes, do go back to wherever and take your smart aleck comments with you.

Shroud is already cut from Vararam install. How will this effect Vortex unit installation if I want to switch?

I have a 2007 coupe and got a BBP Intake & Throttle Body installed at BG 2008 C5/C6 Bash. I have had Ernie install plug wires and the Corsa Sport Exhaust at the 2008 Carlisle Corvette Event plus I got a new 160 degree thermostat. The changes in performance have been outstanding and would recommend them. I have a buddy with Vararam and wishes he got the BBP!

Default Install was rough.

Just installed my vortex rammer cai today on my 2007 z06. Had to modify numerous things in order to get a decent fit(couplings, hose clamps, location of breather, had to cut more than template showed). Let's just say, it was rough. That being said, I like how it looks, and it seems like it will be very effective.

Can't wait to get tuned next week!
