Default Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

Does anyone have any experiences with the new Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 tires? In Car and Driver tire test, it came in 2nd while the popular Nitto Invos came in 8th. The prices are very good also.

They are pretty new and just wondering if anyone out there have a set and if you do, what do you think of them.

Magazine tests looked pretty good but personal advice from other people did not pan out that well for me. Yeah, I'm on the same boat, however it looks like the Nitto Invo's for me....regardless what the magazine people conveyed. Pepboys wanted to sell me the same Hankook for $1010.00 out the door including everything. TireRack and Online tires were around $650's not including the warranty.

Just to note, one person at a reputable shop told me that once the miles increases on the tires they become noisey. As a result, one customer returned them.

I have put two sets of Hankook Ventus tires on my Benz SUV and love them. They are super quiet until the last 10K

My 20" ventus on my Grand cherokee have been great for the price. They grip well so they probably wont last forever with the softer compound. They are quiet but with under 10,000 miles so far.

I am considering them or Firestones for the c6 when I get a new set.

I see other tires I like better but not in this price range. My longest lasting tire under abuse would be the firestone wide ovals on my old c5 The Z06's at the Texas speedway driving experience have always used the wide ovals for this reason.

Just installed 275's and 305's on my 9.5's and 11's and my initial reaction is "WOW". Very pleased with the traction, response and feel of these tires. Less than 200 miles so far but I don't have any reason to think it won't last. The price was definitely right too. I am more than happy to sacrifice the security of the run flat's for improvements in EVERY other aspect!

I just put a set on my DD 2008 350z (based on test results from that magazine comparison) and they are great!

All for $892 through Discount Tire.

5 thousand miles on a set ...cost about 700 dollars delivered and they clearly an amazing improvement over the stock runflat z51 tires.

Discount tire direct had a great price, free freight and 50 dollar rebate from hankook so the cost is even less. Free shipping if I remember correctly.

I almost bought the Nitto invo's but these Hankooks rated better than the 8th place Invo's in that car and driver test...

I'm sure they are all great tires...but my suggestion is to go for the Hankook.

Great ride and handling on my 08 z51.

I am very surprised to read such glowing reviews of these tires.
I have a set I put on 3 weeks ago and HATE them. Yes, they ride soft and squishy, so if you like a pillow like ride, thats a plus. Yes, they grip good...in a straight line. So if don't change directions, good for you! Oh, and they are real quiet. So very nice if you have sensitive ears. BUT!!!! These tires are lousy at handling. The car feels like it pushes in smaller radius, slower turns, and the back end crawls in faster more sweeping turns. The car is just not as planted as it was with the GY supercars. I LOVED the supercars when they where new. Those GY tires gripped like nobody's business and if you did reach their limits, they were progressive and predictable. These Hankooks just aren't up to the task. I have tried air pressures from 30PSI to 46PSI in 2PSI increments, but higher pressures did not give better results.

I've had a set for a few thousand miles now and I love them. Much better traction than the runflats, quieter, and smoother.

Got mine from Sean @ Tires Direct. Awesome price, free delivery, had 'em on for 2 weeks now and I am amazed at the ride. Just let's me know how crappy the GYRF's were. Quiet beyond compare, no more tramlining and at this price I can afford to go through 2 sets and still come out saving money. The Car and Driver test was right on, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Give Sean a call 800.707.8473. Did I mention how much better they look?

I don't know how many miles you have on the tires but the possibility you might need a few more miles to get the stuff off them ..

Sometimes tires come with a film over them and makes them feel greesy..I didn't have that on these Hankooks but I did on a set of toyo proxis years back...I hated those tires till the mileage rolled up a bit and then they were pretty good.

The possiblity is your alignment is WAY off...I'd suggest a four wheel alignment by a competent shop with a recently serviced alignment machine..(if the machines are off...the tech could be knowledgable and the alignment would still create the driving enviroment you are describing)

just trying to help you out...

These tires are awesome on my 08 Z51 as many have reported on their cars as well.

Good luck

I had them on my BMW M3 and they're great! Once my run flat tires go I'm switching over to them and I plan on buying the "goop" kit

Just ordered a full set from Discount Tires Direct. $690 (w/o warranty) plus a $50 rebate from the mfg which ends today. The GY run flats on my car have 16K on them and they're worthless in the rain any more.

I recently had the Ventus V12 tires installed, and what a difference in a positive way for the goodI dont track the car, Im no tire expert but I will say these tires are WAY better the the F1 supercar tires, quieter, better grip, and handle in the rain better than the g-years,I got 14k out of the run flats and the fronts were gone So at this point I recommend the V12,the only regret is that I should I switched sooner
