I can not believe that people are worried about the effects of a tune and their warrants. Chucks tunes are about the quality of power extracted from the motor and he will not tune it to the very edge. Yes, the car will be a lot faster than stock but it is way more efficient. Just do it! You don't know what you are missing.

Chuck when are u coming to Iowa. I live in Kansas and Iowa is pretty close. My 08 Z 51 A6 only has 6000 miles and warranty is of little concern to me. The stock A6 in my car shifts slower then grandmas 225 electra Buick. I think i need the 342 gears also or maybe 373 just for kicks. Let us know. Cheers.

I have also been waiting for him to come to HI for quite some time. I think he would be able to fill several days of tuning by just the owners on the forum.

Not true..My car was struck by lighting last year and the computer was fried! The car had a tune on it from a local speed shop (nothing like a Chuck Cow tune, I will add) and the car was fixed under warantee, no cost to me! I did lose my tune, which was not very good anyway, but my dealer fixed it and never said a word about anything! By the way, the car may have not been directly hit by lighting, but it was close enough to fry the computer and shut the car down with no power!

Will do. I just wish the track was open this weekend. They are doing all ORSCA test and tunes this Friday. BAH. It will be the 17th before the S/L's can run.

I am sure Chuck and Corina wouldn't mind a Maui tuning trip!

They are going to China again this year, so why not Maui!!! get enough people together who want tunes and I bet Chuck could "find an reason" to soak in the sun!!!

I've heard a lot of good things regarding Chuck COW tunes. What makes them better than other tuners? Wondering.

I can't speak for "other" tuners but I did have my car tuned by a local speed shop over a year ago, and it was NOTHING like what chuck did. It's night and day between the two tunes! from my experience, a dyno tune can't touch a Cow tune! Just my 2 cents worth.

Y'all ever heard this one before????

It ain't what ya got so much as... HOW YOU USE IT!

These cars make really good power, and if you notice...Most tuners seem to get the same HP numbers more or less.

So what does this mean???

If you take the same power and make better use of it (or better yet, make the car run MORE EFFICIENTLY) then you've got a car that is quicker and MUCH MORE FUN to drive!

These engines will only let us tuners squeeze out what HP they have. None of us are magical and nobody can squeeze out more HP than the cars have to offer.

All too often we hear talk about "dyno" this and "numbers" that.

Guys generally tend to think that the #'s tell the story or that 2 HP more means a car WILL go faster.

Why dyno tune an AUTOMATIC car with a COLD AIR INTAKE???

And after you dyno tune it, what have you got???

A CAR THAT RUNS PERFECTLY ON THE DYNO!

When the same car gets off the dyno and onto the street, how do we know it's still running the same as it did on the dyno?

We don't. Most of us ASSUME it does. WRONG.

How do we know how much HP my street tune makes?

We don't. BUT, we do know that it's running perfectly.

Running perfectly, with the optimal AFR and SPARK timing assures us that we've got the best performance.

Can we prove it? ...Nope.

Does it usually drive and feel much better.... YUP.

Add to this an AUTOMATIC car that people never gave a second look at...Think'in sticks were faster than automatics....

Again, it's not what ya got....

It's how you use it.

Default I really wanna go to it...

I really wanna go to it... But, right now...I'm away.

I'll be back in a day or so and I'll be able to see what's going on.

I think someone should start a thread to help get an idea of who'se interested....
