Default Got a Chuck Cow tune...

I love it! The car is so much more responsive. His tune (A6) puts the power more directly/effeciently to the road. I can't wait to get it to the track and see the difference it makes in my 1/4 mile time. I can actually say the car feels so much more alive with his tune. I am very impressed. I actually have to be careful what I am doing now when I drive the car with his tune.

Welcome to the COW clan, definitely puts a smile on your face. Now you need the 3.42 attack package installed by him.

I think that it was asked earlier, but what is the difference between a mail order tune and an in-person one..............Other than the fact that Chuck is present for one and not the other?

Chuck: Do you use HP Tuners or EfiLive?

Now i know the Z06 is faster and pulls harder because of the LS7, but other than pure HP, my LS2 now feels alot more like the Z06 when going through the gears! It is much more of a car now, and really amazing what a good tune can do!
Did you get the throttle tune as well?

Haven't received my PCM back as of yet. I was already like a kid on Christmas eve, now after all the reading I am like crazed weed head looking for the next fix.

When he's present, he drives it, with you in the passenger seat and his laptop next to him. He then makes adjustments as he drives. I'm sure the mail order is almost as good.

I've had a COW 'remote" tune on my 08 A6 now for about 10,000 miles. I was concerned for sure after all the negative posts I'd seen but figured what the heck, I can always put it back with the remote tune and a 'saved' tune. I spend most of my driving on cruise on the freeway and am still getting on average 27-28 mpg.... however when the need is there to 'romp on it'... OMG.. hang on! I don't beat/abuse/flog the car most of the time, but for those times when I want to, it's fantastic. the transmission tune is fantastic, the car runs great, i like the more 1:1 pedal to throttle positioning. there were a few glitches early on with, mainly with me not understanding how/where the software stored the tunes, etc. Chuck was patient and explained it to me (I'm sure under his breath going, oh great, another idiot!).... but all good to go! I'm almost 40,000 miles on the car now, did the intake, and exhaust and just can't say enough about it. for you folks on the fence, get off.. you'll enjoy it! For those nay-sayers... well.... don't knock it till you've tried it. for those friends of a friends of a friend's cousin that had one done and it blew up his engine/transmission/tire/cig lighter or radar detector (yes, making stuff up).. ... don't propogate rumors... if you experienced it, speak up.. otherwise... well.. there is the other option of NOT speaking up.

COW-a-bunga!
