Damn, if I were a sixteen-year-old anything and something happened that ended up with me getting the keys to a Vette, it could be done up with off-white housepaint and manure and I don't think I'd quite feel the sting of criticism.

After looking at that picture, I am not sure which is worse:
The pink vette or someone's great grandmother wearing a cockpit skirt.
You know, a skirt that stops two inches below the cockpit.......

She traded the C5 for a brand new 08 coupe.
Here's the link to the guy who did the custom paint job...

Fame and Form
We have a woman here in Los Angeles. Her name is Angelyne and she's driven various pink Corvettes for the past 30+ years. She's a cultural icon here but nobody knows what she's famous for.
This photo is very complementary. She's kind of an old hag in person. I see her all the time! LOL

Both car and driver are well noted for their equilibrium...

The car in the photo was painted pink for the 2005 Corvettes@Carlisle show. The 2005 Corvettes just came out a week before the Carlisle show. Kerbecks have always had a stand out car at their tent each year for their give-away poster. In 2000 they ordered a yellow convertible with torch red interior. In 2002 they had a electron blue with a white top and torch red interior car.
The 2005 car was a silver coupe that their body shop took all the body panels off of the car and did a show quality paint job. They did this car in less than a week. The car was named after George Kerbeck's wife.
This car was the talk of Carlisle that year. I can still remember the GM engineers shaking their heads looking at it.
This year they had a Jetstream Blue Grand Sport convertible with red/black interior!!!!!!!

This is actually pretty sharp looking...
Would I want to driive it? Heck NO! But it still looks very well done and it certainly gets people to sit up and take notice.

We were in Santa Barbara visiting our kids in the fall of 06 sitting outside having a cup of coffee at a shopping mall and she drove in...we were just blown away as she parked, got out and walked by us and into a dress shop there. When we returned home to WA our son had done some internet searching and found out she was "famous" and there was some billboards or some advertising featuring her and she apparently ran for some local office at one time.

She was a hottie back in the day. No one lives forever.
