Default Added some Alcantara interior pieces

Sent out my wheel, shift ****/boot, e-brake ****/boot, and console lid to Dallas Custom Steering Wheel for recovering. The work is impeccable and the prices were fantastic as well.

Here's a few pics - I highly recommend Dallas Custom Steering Wheel if you're looking to get interior parts recovered/refinished. I've since sent out the same pieces from my wife's Boxster for recovering in alcantara.

(ignore the seat covers in the pics - I put them on for a long trip we were making)

I also added leather covered door handles that I bought from a forum member. These add a nice touch to the interior as the stock 1LT handles are extremely cheap feeling and looking.

Very nice. Really adds some class without being too flashy.

I like it. Very subltle. I was thinking of doing a few similar things myself over the winter.

Is it just me or does it look like the stitching on the console cover looks a little wavy from being stretched and fitted.

I love my alcantara pieces......I've found the wheel is easier to grip and doesn't get hot/cold,depending on the weather.

Does DSV offer stuff like this? The stuff looks great in the Porches I've been in.

Looks like what i was seeing was the curvature of the armrest. It just looked weird from the angle.

Not sure - they are factory - it may just be the longer exposure I used for the interior shots.

This work was done by Dallas Custom Steering Wheel - the work was excellent and very competitively priced. DSV does this type of work and by all accounts on this forum are also great to work with and do fantastic work as well. I went with Dallas Custom Steering Wheel based on price but I have to say the work is impeccable and so was the customer service.

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments - hopefully the pics have offered some inspiration. Redzone - your pics are what originally inspired me. I wanted to go for a factory look - nothing garish or custom-looking.
