I'm going to do a full repaint in march and am toting with the idea of a custom color. I'd love some ideas, pics would be the best.

Are you going to do a solid color, split the paint, ghost flames, etc?
Im thinking JSB over Black seperated by a thin silver connecting stripe. OEM colors but different.

Candy Wineberry over Metallic Copper base-coat.
Saw this at a Hot Rod Show and have always remembered how cool it looked.
Probably not a cheap process.
Good Luck

I've been going to car shows since High School in the 50's and the only "COLOR" that sticks in my mind is a Chameleon paint job on a car 3 years ago. Outrageous color, changed with every angle of view or change of light.
VERY expensive, the guy that owned the car said "in excess of $20,000!" Cost of prep, materials ($1,000 Quart?), special spray gun and TIME involved.
If you want a one of a kind color that always gets looks and comments then a Chameleon paint job is the way to go.
Lots of links available, Search "chameleon paints".

I would say a 'light' gold or cashmere type of color with a black halo and black head lights would be a head turner.

Look back to some old, discontinued Vette colors for ideas. Maybe a deep green or purple. It'd be unique, yet not necessarily look "out of place" on a C6.

In my opinion the color of your car is a direct reflection of your personality. What color is you? Look at your favorite shirt, color of your walls, favorite picture.
My car is LMB a traditional color but some like yellow bright and expressive.
Go with your gut and make it express you!
