Default heater stuck on defrost

i did a search and came up with nothing.
my heater/ ac is stuck on defrost and the fan speed is stuck on high. the insturmentation all works fine visually. any starting points?

try disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes and then hooking it back up. its a start.

Remove the related fuse(s) and drive it for 10 minutes. Put them back in and then see what happens. Just a guess.

you may need a new heater control unit for the console. you can sometimes find them for sale on the forum.

Not sure if the C6 is different than the C5 in this matter.
I had this issue when I owned my C5 sometime back and it turned out to be a vacuum issue, a small hose was disconnected in the back of the intake manifold.

Have you had any work done in that area of the engine ?
Honestly though not sure that the controller is vacuum controlled in a C6 like it is in a C5 but throwing some ideas out there...
