Default Nxt Step Performance Exhaust

Nxt Step Performance.. anyone know about this exhaust system?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CEw6Zcs1EE

I seen it on ebay and found info on the C5 but not much on the C6. I'm really trying to get away from my axial over flowmasters that are so loud people cant hear me on the phone while driving, plus its getting kinda old being that loud or I should say the residence inside the vehicle...

any info on this system would be great..

Don't fool around with a system that nobody ever hear of !

Get a Corsa system, I love mine ! In 5 or 6 gear it almost sounds stock !

For the C5 they pretty much just copied Borla with a little variation of the tips. I think they have Corsas tips.

I'm not too familiar with C6 systems and can't tell who they copied on that one.

The tips look pretty nice.

The C5 system sounds good.

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum. I have an 05' with auto and I recently purchased the nxt step for the C6 and I love it. Quality is great and sounds amazing. I'm not too familiar with all the different exhaust sounds out there. But, I love the way it sounds. I've been driving while on my phone and no one has said that they can't hear me. So, I hope that helps.

I'm going to make a video of it at idle, driving away, and inside the car. I just have to get around to doing it.

But, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Shipping was fast, price was right for me, and packaged real well. PM me if you have any questions. I live in Virginia is anyone is interested in hearing it in person.

What did you pay for your system and are you on a x-pipe or H-pipe? I know it changed the tone from the H to the x on mine.. also the interior is my first concern...

I'm using the factory exhaust except for the exhaust system. I paid $700 with free shipping off ebay. It isn't too loud on the inside. I haven't been on the interstate yet with it installed. So, I don't really know how the sound is above 55mph. I'm heading north tomorrow. I'll report back after my trip. For the price and quality of the exhaust, its a good buy IMO. It took a week for shipping from CA to VA and that was including the New Year holiday.

k9pig: You should be happy with it. I hope my review has helped out some.

So I'm back from going north. The exhaust sounds great on the interstate. Crusing at 65+ isn't loud at all. I was on the phone using a bluetooth and my girlfriend said it wasn't annoying at all. Now cruising at 50-60 was a little annoying when in final gear if you pressed the gas and it didn't shift up. But, overall I thought it sounded pretty good.

At WOT is sounded awesome. There was a 2002 or so M5 that wanted some action. So I handled that properly : ) But, they are still pretty quick. One day soon I'll have to take some videos. I'll probably start a new thread with a full review.

The drone scares me. I have replaced one after market exhaust because of it. I would have to ride in a C6 with any exhaust that I am thinking of buying.

I have an 06 with A6 and I am running Corsa sports and have no drone at any speed. IMHO it's the only way to go for people that don't want the dreded drone issue.

When I emailed the ebay seller I was told that they make the same exhaust for other distributors that put there name on it. He gave me the name but I don't remember what it was. I paid $100 less than the intro price of the GHL I'm very happy with the exhaust it still has the sound I wanted, its loud but the drone is nothing.

S/S system is very nice. If you order it make sure you push the pipes into the x pipe and muffler prior to laying on you back trying to put it together. The install was not bad and the system is great..

Flomasters are forsale!!!
