Were there holes that needed filled from alignment pins on the emblem on the nose or are they just double side taped?

There were holes in the factory facia. We had to add backing behind them and then plastic weld/fill them prior to the prep for paint.

Gotcha, that's what I figured but haven't had the fascia off to know for sure. I like the look without the badge on the nose

65 degrees in Maryland yesterday so I took the GS to the mall for some errands. Found an incredible parking space, between the curb and some maintenance equipment. My '13 GS looks pretty good too !
