C6 "Bling"
I'm seeking your candid comments on the horizontal "spears" on my '05. But please don't "flame" me over these as it was an experiment with PhotoShop.
Thanks, I think. . .

Humm isn't one corvette emblem enough on the back? You have 5 lol.
Also as far as "bling" goes don't do it. I see too many old guys put chrome junk all over their vettes and it just looks horrible. Keep it nice and clean!!

My measly $.02.
While those are more subtle than some others, the car isn't really enhanced.
But I will say I've found things like this look different, often better in person.
Maybe if they were all black, matching your Corvette logo, they'd 'fit' your car better.

I have the ones from West coast corvette on my 07. I bought them before I discovered this forum and found that most corvette owners are against individuality on exteriors, other than Wide body conversions, GM splash gaurds, spoilers, splitters, new exhaust, ECM tunes, new wheels, hood stripes, color matched interior parts, and anything carbon fiber.
I personally like mine, (two bladed spears) and have recieved lots of compliments even from local corvette owners.
Do what you like, it is your car and no matter what you do you will find lovers and haters. Let the flameing begin!

I do not like them but on the other hand I would not say they are offensive if you like the look go for it.

"Old guys?" Seems to me the young guys also go for the J.C. Whitney styling such as chrome wheels and fender insignia, fender stripes, wide bodies with lots of scoops and the like.

Do whatever you want to your car. Let nobody tell you what to do with your $60k car. That being said, I wouldn't add those to my car, but that's just me and my car. I've seen them on a black C6 and they look pretty good actually.

Do what you like. It seems on this forum that the negatives are usually the first to respond to anything. Don't let them persuade you. What do you want to do?
Where do you order the set, I might want them.
