winter tire / wheel combo for z06 / grand sport?
Is there a winter tire / wheel combination that fits the z06 / grand sport? The Pirelli 240 Sottozero is available in sizes for the narrow body. Now that the grand sport is out, perhaps there is a wheel option that would allow one to run winter tires on the wide body. Does anyone manufacture a wheel with the correct offsets to run narrow body tires on a wide body with z06 brakes?

Other than appearance, is there any particular reason why standard C6 wheels could not be installed on a GS? If they can be, then that's an obvious interim solution until Pirelli adds true GS sizes.

1) I do not think that z06 brakes fit standard wheels;
2) I do not think that standard wheels have proper offsets to come out to the edge of the wide body (much like a z06 wheel will stick out of a narrow body).
Warm weather climates are not available to everyone, and those of us in cold weather climates really should use a winter tire in cold weather.
Tire rack does not show any options for grand sport or z06.

How bad of a "winter environment" are you in? Do you need all-season type tires or something more aggressive like Blizzaks?

We live near chicago also and got good results from the Goodyear All Season runflats on a regular C6 Coupe, others have been equally pleased by the michelin A/S runflats.
Hopefully, one or both of those will be available for you by next winter.

u can use a c6 wheel and tire combo with a spacer to bring the wheel out to the edge and the spacer will also make rim clear caliper not the best all time set up but it will work for winter driving the narrower wheel will prob have some advantage also
