The wife and I drove up on Friday afternoon for a little wine taste and dinner. We spent the night in Napa and ate a nice breakfast in St. Helena. We then continued to wine taste a few more places before heading back. I do remember waving to a white convertible, maybe it was you?

The weather is pretty nice here on the East Coast too this weekend. Went for a nice drive with the Vette yesterday.
However the scenery wasn't as nice as your pics.

Did you sample some wine along the way?

Very Nice!

My wife and I - and daughter and son-in-law - leave for Napa next Saturday! Unfortunately, I won't have the Vette to drive around in. In fact, I pick up my brand new Grand Sport vert. on Tuesday and then have to leave on Saturday. Oh well....nothing than drinking wine all day for 5 days can't cure!

My wife and I were up there last Saturday, grabbing a picnic lunch at Oakville Grocery and hitting a couple wineries. This is the prettiest time of year to be in Napa, while the hills are still green and the everything is growing.

Didn't see any other vettes, unfortunately.

I first moved to Marin County in 1966. I had all of Northern Calif as my sales territory for Mattel Toy Co.
About 5 years later I became the boss and could afford a Corvette for my wife.....used to cruise all of Marin, Napa and Sonoma Counties on a regular basis and knew more wineries than we had fingers. Some excellent weekend trips were also taken to the Gold Country and along highway 49 from the central valley up to Tahoe, the so called back way.....then the kids started coming and the Corvette became a 4 door Caddy and then a station wagon was added. But it was sure fun while it lasted......my oldest son still lives in the City so I get to go up there and visit very often....too bad though, he drives a Subaru wagon....
memories are always good.....

Humm.. seems to be a nice idea for a drive but I can not recommend it combined with wine tasting. Sorry I do not wish to offend usually try and avoid Hwy. 29 thru Napa. Usually if traveling to Lake County I prefer Silverado Trail. I also enjoy Hwy. 16 too. Talk about a nice drive.
