Default factory exhaust

Hello, I just purchased a new exhaust..I was wondering what the going rate is if I were to sell them? They have about 6-7K on them.

It depends on the need, I sold my 08 cats for 150 I still have my ls3 exhaust manifolds I was asking 100 shipped.

If someone is putting there car back to stock, they might need parts, find a place where they are out of the way and hang on to them and watch the wanted to buy ads, that is how I sell most of my stuff.

If you want them gone put a cheap price on them shipped and hope for the best.

The platinum in the cats is really the only thing worth anything. Like said you might get lucky with someone converting back to stock but I wouldnt bank on it. I would sell the cats and dump the rest.

I tried to sell mine. Eventually, the local Midas shop in my town was willing to take the orig. exhaust as scrap... as long as I brought it in. They did not do the install of the new system.

i found out with my C5, that on trade, the dealer preferred the stock exhaust over the corsa system i had installed. i went back to stock, traded the car, and sold the corsa's. it was like getting an extra 5-bills on trade. if you have the room, do as i'm doing with my 2008, keep the stock system - it just might be worth it down the road...

as a matter of fact, i bought my corsa system used from a guy in florida. he traded in his 06 with the stock exhaust.

JoeC - 2008 arctic white over mod red, and "second hand" corsa sports!

Do NOT give the cats away for pennies. They can be sold to any recycler for good cold cash. At least $150 for the pair! The rest is worthless but Cats contain platinum. The muffler shops and recyclers dont want you to know that. And will try to offer the least possible.
