If that guy ever floored it when the supercharger locks in, all of those 700+ ponies start to kickin' and the dragon on the hood get's his wings a flappin'.... Pretty soon the car takes off into the air and smacks straight into a wall, just like David Arquette did in the Darwin Awards movie.....
Those are the pics on the internet I'm waitin' to see....Now,that's what I'm talkin' about.....

I have a feeling this whole thing is a goof. My bet would be on the owner planning to have the car repainted as part of some upcoming mods. Given the stick on and hand painted slop all over this car, I'll bet it's just his idea of a joke while he's waiting for the car to go into the shop.
This is well beyond simple bad taste. Something else is definitely going on here and I think the joke will be on us.

I'm really hoping that this is his idea of roughing in the paint scheme and he's just messing with the rest of the world until he gets the car in for paint and body work or something...

Possible, but I still think that he's messing with an Ex who loved the car and he is them punishing along with the rest of us If we get confirmation that the supercharger actually gets installed then you are likely on the money.

pay close attention to the paint.
he has overspray on the 3rd brake light, the headlights, and even the tag.
If he REALLY planned to replace this paint job and the headlights.. he has no sense because he could sell those if he would just be a little more careful.
Whats more if he's "roughing in' a paint job.. why would he ruin the platform they're painting over with a crappy scrap metal dragon and harley davidson headlight visors??
I think we're trying to rationalize irrationality.

JC Whitney got rich off these guys, and they are still out there.
(And before anybody calls the "ageism" card - I'm 66 - and I think that 'vette is hideous.)
