Layering NXT Polish - how much is enough

Melting Slicks
I put one on the whole car, than a 2nd on the hood, roof and trunk area because they get more sun.
I cant see a difference, but I saw a site where a guy took close up comparison shots of a full Zaino vs 1 and 2 coats of NXT, and the Zaino looked better than 1 coat NXT, but 2 coats look just as good and took a lot less time. He concluded the 2 coat NXT looked better, but I looked the pics and I think they looked identical.

After 2 coats your waxing the wax. If you don't want to strip and re NXT try using a pure canauba wax on top of the NXT. It gives a nice wet look and it is sacrificial. Make sure its pure canauba and not canauba with a cleaner.

agree with what has been said here. Nxt 2.0 has abrasives. meguiar's reps have said the same as well. I know for sure as I use it to keep my black Z almost completely microscratch/swirl free. Apply it with a porter cable and it does the job.
