Paint code for competition gray wheels?
Anyone know the paint code for the competition gray color on C6 wheels?
I want to run 18's all around and want to get a 18x10 or so wheel in the back and have it color matched to my current competition gray wheels. Reason is I want a 18" drag radial out back since no one makes a 19" drag radial.
I may even consider a 17" wheel for abit more sidewall, but i have 18's up front that I dont really want to reverse stagger. Either I'd like to stick with the competition gray C6 wheels, i love the styling on my car.

The official code is WA9243.
Others here have posted that Dupli Color brand, GM396 (called Gunmetal Met.) is it and is relatively easy to find (maybe ?).

I had a duplicolor can to paint my Zr1 wheels for my 99 trans am but the color was not quite the same as the comp grays. It was a gunmetal type color but not sure if it was GM 396.
But thanks for the code, i'll have to look into this. My 19x10's have some scratches on them that i have no idea how they got there. May need to recoat them too for resale.

Reviving an old thread of a quick question. I needed to have one of my competition gray wheels repainted. A quick web search led me to paint code WA9243 which I provided to the painter. The wheel appears to have too much metal flake in it. I have not had a chance yet to compare it to the other wheels, but just want to confirm this is the correct code. the wheel is off a 2012 Grand Sport.
Thanks.
Thanks.
