Default Crystal Red Metalic Tint Coat

I am interested in a Vette that is Crystal Red Metalic Tint Coat, I have not seen the color in person yet.

What do you owners think of that color?

It's beautiful and really lights up in sunlight. My only objection to it (and this is admittedly very nitpicky) is that being a shade of red, CRM doesn't contrast with the 4 taillights. I've always seen the Corvette's 4 taillights as being a strong design element; as such, I like them to stand out. On a red Corvette, they just don't stand out like they do when surrounded by most other colors.

I absolutely love my crystal red C6.
This is my fist corvette and it had to be red. The crystal can look bright or marronish depending on the light.
As Prince said....."give me my red Corvette"

You really need to see it in person, in daylight and at dusk. I was lucky enough to see CRM and CGM side by side at a dealer, which were the 2 colors I had narrowed down to. For me, that was all it took.

It does get many compliments. Of course mine is a bias opinion. But like others say, you have to see it in the sunlight. It is a totally different color. It has an amazing depth in the sun.

I totally agree! Especially with a few coats of Zaino. I get many, many compliments on the CRM.

As others have said, once you see it in varying degrees of sunlight, it'll be a no-brainer.

Great color! In the sunlight, with a few coats of Zaino, you can really see the depth of the metallic flakes. Pictures do no justice, you need to see this color in person on a vette and in the sunlight. Many people have complimented me on both the car and color. CRM is an easy color to maintain. If I was buying a vette today, CRM would be my first choice, again

Definitely a Great color. I love it
Like having two different cars depending if the sun is out or not
And as others have mentioned:
first thing people say when they see the car, is how much they like the color

When I was in the market for a Vette, I was only interested in CRM. I get more compliments and looks than I ever imagined!

EVERYBODY who sees my CRM 08 coupe tells me what a great color it is. Reminds of you Candy Apple Red. I love it.

Thanks everybody, I am close to buying a car "sight unseen" and am getting nervous.
I dont want to drive 6 hours to look at it and then go back and get it when I have my paperwork in order.
Allthough I am sure I would enjoy the drive home.

There was a CRM on the showroom floor next to my car when I picked it out. It was also an '06 3LT Z51, same as mine (which is black). I was VERY tempted, but I ended up picking mine because the CRM had tan interior, and although it looked sharp, I prefer ebony.

It's a great color. Just different enough from the other red shades to make it stand out.

It's not so bad. I bought my CRM GS sight unseen and model not yet produced. Then sent it off to people I had never met, straight from the factory, to pull it apart and rebuild it before ever seeing it.

It will be a great ride home.

CRM started in '08 - you likely saw Monterey Red if it was a '06

I love my CRM, I've had it for nearly a year and a half and wouldn't trade it for any other color out there.
