In case you missed the presentation at this year's Birthday Bash, here's a copy of the Power Point in a PDF file that you can download and look over for yourself.

Thanks I downloaded and sending out to a few buddies
Wow the GS in Coupe and Verts are 51% of the market, taking away lots of Z06 sales, I would say the GS is a huge hit for GM

Thanks for posting Dave!
I looked over the presentation and what they have provided is a little bit truncated over what they actually presented but it does hit the high points for those that couldn't attend. Some of the "fill in the detail" slides are missing from what they actually presented at the event.
I too would like to echo what Jim had to say. You are truly one of the best and we appreciate having you around the forum.
Thanks for all you do!
Paul

Some things I noticed.
1) Z06 has the "X" pipe from the ZR1 instead of the current "H" pipe.
2) Weight of the Carbon Z06 is the same as the current Z06. No weight reduction as some have stated(150 # to 200# in posts).
3) The battery tender plug has pin type connectors instead of blades. I wonder if there is a second cord(not shown) that is used from the pin plug that will fit the standard American duplex receptacle.

There's a very good reason. When changing tires the entire suspension would have to be re-tuned. Since the F55 was a new suspension was new on the Grand Sport, it already had to be re-tuned so they put the tires on that suspension only.

How did they re-tune the suspension? Did they change the shocks or springs or A-arm bushings?

i guess i still don't see why then the auto would not get the new tires as well since all new vettes can receive the f55 susp now.
