There were no issues at all. I drove the car for about a week without the airbag and horn connected (no Clockspring) Installed the new one and buttoned it up back together and all is good!

Anyone know what the proper torque is when re-installing the wheel?

I've got a question. Is it possible to put a late model wheel with bluetooth on an 07? I want an 2012 wheel with bluetooth. I will be getting a Pioneer HU and aftermarket steering wheel interface.

I have an 07 1LT A6, I bought a new '11 Z06 (MN6) wheel with BT and audio controls (minus the paddles obviously). I already have a Pioneer installed and know I need the wheel control interface (PAC SWI-PS)...

Will I need any additional wiring or harness'? Can I put my paddles on the Z06 wheel?

I think that you will have to change your clock spring and your steering column wiring harness in order to get your steering wheel audio controls to work. At least that is what I had to do on my 2LT MN6 '08 coupe. And of course you will need the steering wheel audio controls interface that you mentioned. Don't know what you would need to get the blue tooth controls to work. I have a Kenwood DNX 6960 with bluetooth in my car, but do not have blue tooth controls on the wheel (still have a stock '08 steering wheel).

Great, great pics with tutorial, thank you! I'll be swapping my 06 wheel to an aftermarket one. I can leave the clock spring alone, correct?
