The best stuff I have found is Rain Dance Bug Gel. Inexpensive, very effective and gentle on the car.

Yikes.......I do not think I'd even take the care out!! What bugs I do get usually comes off easy with the coats of Klasse applied. Obviously if this bad a good soaking first to soften with something besides water. All the above would work. It can get messy here or in the Valley when the butterflies are out. Only time I used to get it was in the Big Rig and believe me it is a big job cleaning the cab.

They come off easier if you have a good coat of wax. I keep a bug sponge in a bucket of water by the house. Don't leave them on more than a day or two or they'll etch into the paint.

Default Rain X

Rain X bug and tar remover is the ticket!

I tried it for the first time and a few months ago and it works fantastic.
It sprays on and is thick so it can sit and work it's magic. Then a high pressure blast from the hose takes most of it off. Wash it and the remander should come off with no problem.

I also always put fresh Zaino on after (or whatever wax you use)

Wizzard Bug Release. Spray it on let it soak a few minutes and they spray right off.

I don't know....but you may be doing something wrong, initially.

I have a couple of coats of NXT on my car and I wash it with Meguiars Gold Car Wash and a Micro Fiber Mitt. The vast majority of bugs come right off. The little that remains is easily removed with the Ultimate Detailer. And my bug accumulation is quite large since about 80% of my driving is on the Interstates (garage queen)......through "cowboy country".

keep in mind that most bug/tar removers as well as detergents like 409 or simple green will also strip the wax - so make sure to reapply a coat of wax after clean-up otherwise the next time will be more difficuilt.

Correct. I seldom have to even touch the bugs with anything other than the spray from the hose and I'm talking love bugs (look them up). Rejex was designed to keep chemicals from sticking. Road tar won't stick to it. Bugs are child's play.

I use whatever liquid carwash soap I am using at the time - put it on full strength while you are washing the rest of the car. Finish by doing the hood and the nose last and the bugs come right off.

As mentioned, use Rejex or Zaino. They are both synthetic polymers, and the the bugs won't stick as long as you keep the keep the bumper freshly polished. I use Zaino and I can flick bugs off with finger or a hose.

Never leave home without in Florida. We have the infamous Lovebugs with sulfuric acid in their veins.

bugs dont even stick to mine. i just wipe them off with ease with a fine mf towel and zaino z6. I have multiple coats of z5pro on the nose, twice as many as on the rest of the car. tar does not stick either.....

Although I use a different product but get same results. Usually just a finger nail will pop them right off if done after drive. The key is to stay up on the detail job. Not being a DD it is easier I know.
