Default Finally got a the Vette Rejexed!!!!

I prepped the car with a dawn soap wash, clay bar, dawn soap, then Rejex. The car looks great, I'm very happy with Rejex as its my first time using it. See for yourself.

Looks nice! I am a fan of rejex as well. Don't forget to do the windshield and wheels! Bugs and brake dust will come right off.

He Zaino's his Vette everyday and has one of the best shines I have seen on a Black Vette, when you retire you can spend hours upon hours working on your shine

First let me start by saying your car looks great.

I've been using Zaino on the Vette since 2004. Looks great, but it is alot of work. Multiple coats, layering, Z6 Z8. You users know what I'm talking about. When I go to bed after the Vette is done I dream Z's.

I use Rejex on my family car.

I don't want to start a war but I think my next Vette will get the Rejex treatment.

Again NO WAR, I'm just my getting older and detailing all day is getting too much.

Peace,
Rich

And people keep asking me how I get mine so shiny with Rejex. Rejex can take a long time the first time you use it. Anything left on the paint will be sealed in and much harder to get off. Therefor you need to take your time the first time and make sure the surface is really clean. After that is is super easy. I can wash, clay, wash, and Rejex in a couple of hours because nothing really sticks any more. The second coat of Rejex can easily be done in 30 minutes to an hour depending on how **** I'm feeling. Then I don't have to touch it again for 6 months except for the quick wash. I did a friends new car with Rejex almost a year ago and she didn't wash it for 9 months. She parks it out in the rain when it get dirty and it looks surprisingly good and, with a real wash, it really glows.

I prefer Rejex because I already have a life.

Zaino vs rejex......hmmmm, since I drink beer when I wax I get a better buzz with Zaino, If I switch to rum it will be rejex because I will fall down sooner. Mine is a dd and a good rain is a wash job.

Never used Rejex but used many waxes over the years.

Used Zaino system this year and I'm very impressed, best wax/shine I've ever had. And as far as all the "work" with Zaino, its the easiest wax I've ever used as far as applying and removing. It comes off so easy, never have to worry about getting on plastic trim or anyone else because that comes off. Its just a matter of time letting the wax haze up. If you have other things to do during the day, you come back every hour, wipe it down and continue. It's not alot of work....and the shine /feel of the paint is worth it. I'm not planning on using anything but Zaino, but to each their own.

Looks great

Maybe it's time we just celebrate whenever a fellow Vette owner shows off their car's shine

W/O entering the religous argument of which is better...it actually comes down to the person doing the work. I've seen people use Turtle wax that could compete in terms of shine with almost anything. I've also seen people use high dollar, time consuming waxes/sealants that screwed up the car!

FWIW: I've been using Zaino forever...or so it seems anymore
