Harmonic Vibration 70-80 mph....Not Tire/Wheel Related
#42
2007 C6 vibration can be felt at seats above 73mph
The problem is fixed by removing the factory clips as white coupe suggested.

People have complained about vibrations like this when they put on aftermarket wheels. It's usually caused by interference between the rotor flat metal keepers and the new wheels causing the wheel to not mate squarely with the rotor. That's the only one I've heard of that had a "cycling unbalance."

Yup center wheel bore not seated properly. I had the same issue with aftermarket rims. Mine vibrations stopped with some tape wrapped around the hub so the wheel bore fit tight. Believe it or not just one wrap did the trick.
