Pictures - New 2011 Inferno Orange (compared to Victory Red)
Here's the new Inferno Orange and it's pretty stunning if you like orange:
When this color came out on the Camaro last year I didn't like it and thougt it was too red. However on the Vette I love it! In case you think there's too much red in it, here's some comparison pictures of the Inferno Orange next to the Torch Red. The pictures don't show the difference as much as you will see it in person. The Inferno Orange is on the left.
What do you think?

I personally like the color, but when it's next to red it makes me think that if they wanted another color they should not have made it that close. I think it should be an orange that can't be mistaken for red. If they were making a new orange I wouldn't mind seeing a nice solid orange (but I'm a Clemson grad so I'm partial ) Just my thoughts..

Dave. I was in your showroom Saturday with my friend Lee talking to you guys about the Inferno Orange and how much I liked it....
This car has to be seen to be appreciated. I loved it when I saw it but pictures just can't seem to show how nice it is.
It is a metallic paint by the way...
These are the two pictures (CLICK HERE) we showed you Saturday in your showroom. YOu may remember...

They should have made it closer to the lamborghini orange. JMHO. I don't see them selling too many in that color. Now the new blue is nice! ( just not as nice as JSB )

Dave, you are just torturing me!! My Inferno Orange GS in still on constraint. This color is tough to photograph properly like Magnetic Red on my C-5 was. Thanks for the picture fix!!

Yup!
Honestly, I can't tell the two cars in Dave's photo are different colors. I imagine that the limitations of camera, lighting, and computer have something to do with that, but am guessing they are pretty close in real life.
And since the "red" one appears to still have the sticker on it, I'd have thought it more likely to be Torch Red than Victory Red. I haven't seen an answer to the earlier post which posed that question.
I believe I saw a Camaro with Inferno Orange color on the road the other day, and it didn't do anything for me.

Yep, that's great.......they come out with an orange that looks like red, and a blue that looks like gray.
I have no doubt that the new colors look great in person.
But why couldn't they have come out with a new color that wasn't so close to what they already have?
