Painted looks much better to me, the big chrome piece looks out of place. Nice job!

I applaud your effort.

Personally, I like the chrome GS emblem, but different accents look can look good on various cars.

Good grief! Not another thread on badging...

Have you removed your "chiclets" yet?

But I still commend you for trying something different, and doing a quality job. If I had a CG GS I'd be offering you money for those right now

What, when you opened the thread titled "I modified my Grand Sport emblems" you didn't know it was going to be another thread on badging?

You DO know you don't have to open threads you don't like, don't you?

I like what you have done (the CG badging). Regarding color, I question if the hash marks are really CG, regardless of what GM says. They look like a lighter gray.

Looks good. I've been waiting to see how long before the aftermarket guys come up with a carbon fibre emblem.

I think it looks very nice! I think the chrome badges look fine with the chrome wheels but with the painted silver and comp gray I think this is very appropriate. My GS is black with chrome wheels but I kind of wonder how it would look if my badges were body color. If I could buy a set all ready to go I might swap them out for a change.

By the way, just how difficult it is to remove the badge and replace?

The OP did an excellent job with the badge and its lettering!

Looks great, Nice Job
Never thought the chrome ones were too bad, but it depends on what color the car is and if it has Chrome wheels or not.
I Really like the painted badges after seeing more pictures of them painted

That is an amazing (and soooo simple) transformation that suddenly dignifies the GS emblems. Until now, I never knew what it was about those emblems I didn't like...and I'm a chrome kinda guy! GM needs to take notice of your talent!

Are you sure the stripes are Cyber Grey? They look pretty close to the Comp Grey wheels.

Is it just me, or does the wheel look tiny in the wheel well to anyone else?
Looks like maybe he had the front up on jacks just before the picture. The suspension settles down once you drive it for a little while after it's been lifted. I really like the new emblem

I think they look great. Much better than the chrome. I agree in trying to match the hash marks. Even though they didn't match exactly they sill look excellent.
