Installed my new blue calipers from Mike.
I first tried the DIY red caliper spray paint... it lasted for a few months. Okay, that was fun. Now for the real thing.
I must say, Mike did an outstanding job.
Also installed my exhaust filler panel from RPI designs.
Thanks again to two awesome forum vendors.
By the way... it's always good to take your wheels off and clean them every once in a while

I've had mine on for over 4 years and they look as good as new. Granted it's not a DD but I'm real happy with the way they have lasted. Mike does a great job and high quality work. Your's look excellent...

Thanks all
Nope. I just cleaned them with Purple Power from either Avanced Auto or Auto Zone... maybe even Wal Mart? Don't remember. I sprayed it down first with Brake Cleaner (from Auto store).
The only thing left on my rims are those damned stuck on pieces of black pavement that have some how molded themselves onto the wheel. I'm hesitant to using something to just "scratch them off."
I then went over the wheels with an old-school "chrome cleaner" that my dad has had for years. It's also what I use on my exhaust tips and my god it makes it shine. The picture doesn't do the exhaust tips justice.

I thought you might all like a way to keep your new brake calipers and wheel barrels clean without need to remove wheels.
