I'm currently 17, but already have a plan to acquire a C6 vette sometime in the near future, hopefully the updated LS3 model. I don't know what insurance would cost me, which is the only thing I am uncertain on. I plan to use State Farm like my family does. I have no points on my license or any accidents. If anyone knows the region in which my insurance might be, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!
Reviving a decade-old thread is not the most efficient or accurate way.

Hey all,
I'm 26, bought the car at 23.
Live in CT
Married
Father
Homeowner
Credit score over 800
1 Ticket 3 years ago
Wife is an insurance agent
Full coverage we pay $185/month for my 2010 GS, 2007 Forester XT, and 2017 Silverado.
There's a lot more to insurance that $/month. People treat it like a burden. It's a safety net should you need it. Don't leave yourself open to financial ruin for a few bucks a month.
Best of luck with your search!

I was quoted around $242 with the coverage I carry (25/50/50, $500 comp/collision deductable, $10K medical per person for uninsured, 15/30 uninsured) comprehensive, etc. on a 2011 Z06. I am 24, but I had them run the calculation for when I am 25 as that is when I will buy. Also, that is including a multi-car discount as I will keep my current car.
Total cost for my Infiniti G20 (2002) and the Z would be $368/mo. I am with State Farm, and that number isn't so impressive to me, although I would probably drop to liability only on the Infiniti. Still. It doesn't look too good imho for someone with a perfect driving record.
