Parking brake won't release.
Anyone else have any issues with parking brake releasing? When I put handle down I fell it barely release, and the parking brake is staying engaged. Any ideas what it could be?

If parked with the parking brake on for a prolonged period of time and if the brakes were hot when you engaged the parking brake or if the humidity was high it is very possible for parking brake shoes to stick to the surface of the hub and stay engaged even when you drop the handle.
You can sometimes get them to release by creeping the car forward or backward while engaging and again disengaging the brake handle. You can also try to over lift the handle which may compress the pads further against the surface of the hub and actually help it break free.

Nothing in your profile about what year, could it be corrosion?

its a 2008, and its been doing it off and on. Has been sitting for a while before it happened. Was working fine last night, but today I went to drive it and could barely force it to go backwards. I will take off the rotor to see if i see any issues.
