Looking to purchase... how many miles is too many miles?

QUOTE=JuicedZ;1575882927]Hello all, I have recently had the opportunity given to me to purchase a 2005 Corvette with 59k miles. To me, this is high, but the price is fantastic, so fantastic that it's very hard to say no. It appears to be in great condition but I'm unfamiliar with the reliability of the LS2. I am hard on my cars. Would you recommend a well maintained Corvette with 60k miles? Anything I need to lookout for?
Thanks,
Chris [/QUOTE]
Others will say 2005 is the worst year but I have 2005 with 37,000+ miles still on original tires and battery and it has been nothing but reliable to me.
Thanks,

The car's probably fine, but just couldn't get myself to accept buying a late model car with more than mid 30's on the clock. If the car's a really good deal and you're not planning to rack up lot's of additional annual mile's, maybe worth considering.

My '05 had 42K when I got it. That was a tad high for my liking but I ran a carfax and a GMVIS report and found out it had one owner and every scheduled maintenance was listed on one or the other report. Oil was changed every 8 or so thousand miles. It's in near flawless condition so I forgot about the mileage and so far it's been a pleasure to drive.
