Yes we sell 5th and 6th gears for T56's..
It will be for the T56. What would be the cost for the gears? What about the sound while cruising and wot in those gears? Do you have them in stock?

Is the $1,000 core charge included in the cost above? So if I send in my old T56, to get Z06 ratios would be $2,595?

Hi,

No sir, sorry about that not being more clear...We have it listed as "Exchange Special Price $3,595" meaning there must be an exchange of transmissions to get the price as listed...

Also remember you are getting a much better-stronger 6-speed manual transmission in the TR6060...

Yea unfortunatly the price went from reasonably affordable to probably not in the cards at $3,500-4,000. I'd love a T60 with all your upgrades. I am curious as to how the price breaks down on your end. What is your expense to offer this service?

Well we think its a great deal for what you get Most T56 trans customers spend $2595+ on there T56's, and it still want handle what a TR6060 can...These units we build are rated at 800+rw/ftlbs/tq... btw its costly forsure....

Hi Wade,

We recommend our Special Premium Synthetic Fluid in any 6-speed manual tranmission..It was developed to withstand high & low temps alot more than any other fluid...

Mike,

I have a built t56 in the car right now, but I do believe the syncro's are bad in the 1-2 shift. Would a built t56 be worth more as a core?
Military discount?

Anyway, this having to slow shift to second is getting tiring haha

Just sucks none of this is on the west coast.
This will resolve a long standing problem with my A6/z51 slush bucket of a transmission.

I refuse to play coast down gear hunt everyday so I became a rather proficient paddle shifter despite the upshift delay.

Believe it or not, GM uses regular ATF in the T56 trans. One of my best friends is a mechanic for a local GM dealership. I didn't believe (thought he was full of sh**) it to be quite honest until he took a pic with his phone and sent it to me. I have a '04 GTO with a custom 500hp LS1 built by Baily's Hyperformance Factory and my T56 isn't holding up to the beating I give it. My synchros in 1/2 and 5/6 are shot now. Looks like I will be calling Mike real soon to get a quote on his tranny. Has anyone on here got one of these trannys and can speak of the quality? No offense, Mike...I just like to hear success/horror stories <if any> before I drop the $$

but it dosn't look like that's a real website. No responses for a week, I'm guessing no success stories. Looks like I will go with the Tick Performance TR-6060.

Wow, never knew about this. I was going to get a built T56 but if this will handle 800rhwp/rwtq this is very nice. Anyone who has done this please post up a review.
