Default Have you done a custom shift ****?

If you have done a custom shift **** for a manual C6..(autos welcome too) What did you do with your ebrake handle?? Did you keep it leather or customize it another way..?? Pics of what you have done would be great.. I am wanting to do a customized manual shift **** but wasn't sure if it would look ok with the ebrake handle being leather... Opinions.?? Pics?? thanks in advance! Tonya

The best shift **** is a Hurst Ball. It shortens the throw because it's not as tall, and you can palm the ball making shifting more controlled and natural.

I went with 2-tone leather from Down South Vettes on the shifter **** & boot, and the e-brake handle & boot.
I also went with a 2-tone padded leather console cushion from Mid America Motorworks.

I have the hurst shift ball and I like it a lot better than the stock shifter. But it does not look right with the leather hand brake. I wish someone would make an after market e-brake handle that would match some tyope of custom shifter like the eight-ball shifters.

I had this one left over from a former car I had and it happened to fit. I like it better than the old style one that's on '05 A4's that looks like it's from a 20 year old car.

Go to dsvettes.com.. Gallery.. They do have some different ebrake handles that are not leather.. You may want to check them out..
