Default Battery or worse ?

My C6 2005 did some strange things today. I went to start it and nothing. Then, all of a sudden, one front headlight went on, all kinds of dash warning lights, fob not detected, driver window 2 inches down and stayed that way. I had to use the manual key to get into it. Then the dash lights stayed on and then suddenly went off. Is this what happens when the battery dies or is it potentially something huge like a computer?. Any input will help. Thanks.

Crazy things happen when the battery is going out on you. If its the original i'd replace it asap.

There have been many threads here with similar strange things happening when the car battery needs replacing.

As the other have said when the battery is going these cars act like the vehicles in Maximum Overdrive. I would change the battery and I would say with about 95% certainty that will fix your problems. I hope thats all it is. Good luck.

I just hooked up a CTEK Multi US 7002 battery charger/maintainer/tender last night. Never used a battery tender before. CTEK says that it analyzes the battery during the charge cycle and indicates if a battery is approaching end-of-life. We'll see. My '07 coupe factory battery is 4+ years since late '06 build date. It's a daily driver except for a few periods of sitting 21-24 days with no battery tender and no problems.........so far.

Sounds like you had a close encounter... similar to the one Richard Dreyfuss had in his truck
