Is that $695 parts and labor with a five car minimum? I already have the kit (gm parts plus harness). I will start a thread to see if there is enough interest to get to 5.

Going to be around Tampa in mid-July? Any interest in a new set of golf clubs for an install?

I was part of the 8 car OH install a few weeks ago. The HUD is exaclty has if you had the 3lt or greater package. It is very clear on the wind screen and has all the functions...including the g meter.

Thanks Steve for such a great job...it was a blast. Coop was a great host...wish I could do it all again.

I had my HUD installed back in March. Steve was very professional and did a great job. No one would ever know my car didn't come with HUD stock. I would certainly recommend Steve if you want to add HUD to your 1LT or 2LT

To all, Thanks very much for the positive feedback, always good to hear Vette stories or upgrades/experiences from other owners

Howdy Steve,

I was told you do custom HUD installs on 'Vettes. I just purchased a 2012 Coupe 1LT and wanted to install the HUD for it. I'm from Orlando, FL but I can drive if needed to your workshop. Thanks for the reply!

Default Overrated HUD

I have had 1 C-5, and 3 C-6, with HUD in all of them. I believe IMO that it is highly over rated for usefulness except at nite. Keep looking at the dash during the day by habit or perhaps ease of use. Sice Vettes suck on resale, HUD should not be considered when going to sell. I am sure others have opposite oppinions.

I raced the C-6s at Sebring and Roebling and never looked at the HUD

I've had it in 5 C5's, '04 GP GTP, '11 Camaro SS and my '12 GS vert.
I like it....very useful day or night!
