NXT Step Exhaust
Hey guys, I just got my NXT Step Exhaust system installed and I am very impressed. They sound amazing (very deep and aggressive) with virtually no drone. The 4" chrome tips look amazing. You can get them for like 600 bucks on ebay. I just couldnt bring myself to spend 1200 or more on an exhaust that is only going to add 10-20HP. Ill post a sound clip later. Now for the Dyno Tune

Axle back exhausts don't add any power. I don't care what the mfgrs say they don't. They are for sound and looks only. I have noticed something with the more expensive exhausts. They don't need replacing in 3 years like the cheaper exhausts. The cheaper exhausts just don't seem to last. I was going to buy cheap headers and exhaust but after research its not worth it in my opinion. As far as most of the stuff goes with the Vette I do believe you get what you pay for. Not trying to rain on your parade bc the exhaust sounds awesome. Glad you are happy with the exhaust because that is really all that matters. That being said I love my Corsa. Can't wait to the LG superpros I'm getting next week. I have heard the LG's with a Corsa and its one of the best sounding exhaust systems on a Vette in my opinion.

Some of us would love to save on the corvette tax on the $1200. A $500 tax for paying for essentially the same thing. Well the additional cost for brand name. Its not always getting what you paid for. many weigh the options and what we are willing to spend may be more or less than what others are willing to fork out.
