I'd be happy to PM you but I'm not sure what info you are looking for.

I got in touch with Mike and told him what I wanted and he gave me a couple of options. He could make them (powder coated Crystal Red with the polished metal letters showing through) and ship them to me and I could install them (or have them installed locally). .........Or, I could drive down and (for a fee) he would install them while I watched.

If I had him ship them to me I would have to pay a core charge that would be refunded when I shipped back my calipers. Also I would have to pay someone to install them because I didn't really want to be messing with my brakes. Also pay shipping charges both ways.

SO, I decided to just drive down on a beautiful day and get it all done at once. Of course I let Mike know a week in advance so he could get the calipers done before I came down to see him.

I got to see the calipers before he installed them and also got to meet Mike in person. A win, win!

You answered most of my questions I had. Other ? would be a phone number I could contact him at to set up an appointment and get a cost on the calipers with installation.

I like what you did, I think it looks better, but I'll wait until I find a Z06 kit available at the right price.

Anyways don't let my babbling discourage you. It looks great.
Actually Z06 brakes aren't very good for track use either.... Some think the base brakes are actually better for the track!

The problems are:
- the padlets are too thin, wear fast and are costly
- the front right side rotor is left vaned (PBR/Chevy only produced a part number for the left side rotor...there are NO right vaned rotors)
- the caliper pistons only engage half of the individual padlets.
- the one piece rotor is too heavy.

If I was going to track my car Z06 brakes aren't what I'd be using.....

Looks good Randy! Mike does great work on the powdercoating. I did not know he offered the installation of the parts too. I am sure it's not as much as a dealership would charge.

Mike did my DSOM calipers about 4 years ago. They still look as good as the first day that I got them from Mike!!

Thanks Mike for a great product and terrific customer service!!!

I went from a narrow body (regular C6) to a wide 'booty' by modding to the Z06 rear quarter panels. I wanted to keep using the same wheels and tires for a while until I did the wide front so I needed the wheel adapters to push the wheels out 1.5".
