You can buy a set of NPP mufflers that someone took off and have them mounted then get a mild to wild kit for $179 which takes a couple hours to install and you have essentially the same set up as factory NPP.

I have NPP on my 2008, I really like it. I usually have it open around town driving, but on the highway, I close it. My wife thinks its too noisy out on the road when traveling. A small price to pay for her letting me get a vette

Also with NPP both exhaust "tips" come directly out of the mufflers instead of that silly "Y" pipe from one to two.

Default Dual mode exhaust

On my o8 they kick in when rpm's hit 3k in comp mode or 35 rpm in Normal mode. Everyone looks for a switch and don't realize its automatic?

For you information hogs.. did you know that the stainless pipes are non-magnetic which means it is a 300 series stainless. I have this on my list of Corvette Minutiae.

You will not gain much HP from a different exhaust, unless you go headers and high flow cats too. And a tune to go along with it.

Whoops - I didn't make it to the bottom of the thread Turbo6TA....

It really sounds good with headers and high flow cats. She will never know you have them in "quiet mode" either.

Default 2009 Z06 in exhaust mode

Without removing the fuse, is there a setting that you can change back and forth to get into the dual exhaust mode? I have a 2009 Z06.

I prefer to keep mine stock, just sounding nice. I have a 2016 c7 z06 also, if I want to blow some doors off!

I have the NPP exhaust w/Mild to Wild switch that I keep in the console. Really nice setup. Loud when I want, and soft for cruising.

I have a set of NPP exhaust if you're interested. LG longtubes to the exhaust tips. Let me know if you're interested.
