Default Service Active Handling Message 2007 Vette

The service active handling message comes on and when you stop the engine it won't restart. When you press the starter button with your foot on the brake it won't start and message appears put your foot on the brake but your foot is already on it. I have taken it to the local chevy dealer 3 times and I just got it back and it did it again. They replaced the brake sensor switch and repositioned and recalibrated the brake pedal.Any ideas about what's wrong or how to get the dealer to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a telescoping steering column, maybe even if you don't, there is a TSB the Active Handling issue that has affected many cars. Do you know if your dealer has addressed this? Here's the TSB, maybe you need to educate your dealer?

There's a good sized thread going on here at CF about that very issue:

It was a major problem for me back in 2006 and was fixed when the dealer replaced some module for the active suspension. They might try to use wire ties on the wires under the steering. Lol. It won't help. Bring them the TSB and don't let them be lazy. I will scare the day light out of you when it happen at highway speeds.

did you resolve this issue? I believe I may have the same issue. I was going to replace the brake sensor, but it seems that didn't fix it for you.
