Anyone using b&b route 66 exhaust?
Hey guys my flowmasters are giving me a headache. They make great noise but the drone is a bit overbearing at times and its just always loud even when not on throttle. Anyone have any experience with the b&b route 66 exhaust? I want my car to still sound mean when on the throttle but to be a bit more quiet when cruising.

I have them on my 2005 coupe, 6 speed and they have a bark on acceleration and quiet at cruise and idle.
I just installed a Corsa Sport on a customers 2005 convertible 6 speed and it's louder at idle than the BB but mild at cruise and louder still when you are in the throttle.
Both are good and no drone...

I have heard them and they aren't much louder than stock. You may find them too quiet. Best thing you can do is go for a ride with someone in your area that has an exhaust you are considering. B&B offers a variety of exhausts that offer a wide range of sound, from mild (Route 66) to wild (Bullets). There are some in the middle that you may find to your liking.

I have the B&B Route 66 on my LS2 convertible, and there is some drone between 1500 and 1800 rpm. They are noticeably louder than stock under ALL conditions, and scream at full-throttle, high rpm.
The stock system was so quiet that I could not "shift by ear" so I needed something better. I don't like the drone, but I have gotten used to it.

I just ordered a B&B Fusion dual mode after driving a friends for a nice hour ride on the parkway. It is honestly the best of both worlds, shuts down to about 5% drone when you valves and sounds great when open. I was searching the topic as well and that seemed to be the best bet for me, the GF would hate road trips with constant drone... Good luck I am installing mine this week. Youtube some options.

The fusion worked great for me as well. Great quality and no drone on mine in the quiet position.
Good Luck!
