Put chapstick on the letters, then after painting scrape the paint off the letters with a razor blade. Will come right off.

That doesn't work on the GS/Z06 calipers because the letters aren't raised, they're decals.

No answer for your question, it has come up often and I haven't seen any solutions posted yet. There was a suggestion made last year to contact thepowdercoater since he obviously has to restore the lettering after he powder coats. Someone posted earlier this year that they did contact him and he said his license with GM doesn't allow him to sell the decals separately.

Good luck. If you find something a lot of people will be happy to hear about it.

It's a little disappointing that GM decided to make some great big high performance calipers and then stick decals on them....the letters should be cast in like the regular calipers.

Here is the photoshop working of original z06 caliper decal at the attachment.I personally scanned all calipers and made some adjustments.you need a plotter to cut these decals on a sticker.then you can use these stickers to paint the calipers. here is my own painting

I wonder if you carefully coat the letters with Vaseline, then spray paint the calipers. The paint on the letters should wipe off. Maybe!

There's no way you can trace the letters and have it come out right. ?They are very thin and flush to the surface of the caliber. You need a replacement decal. Someone must sell them.
