USB port in center console
What year did they add the USB port to the center console of the C6?

Isn't it only in the 2011 vettes that have the nav system installed? I don't think it is in mine (I have the 2LT package with the standard MP3 and radio)

2011 Corvettes with a navigation radio have a USB port and 3.5mm auxiliary input jack added to the rear of the center console for plugging in either an iPod/iPhone/iPad through the USB port via the cable with the Apple dock connector or a USB storage device (hard drive, thumb drive or the like). From the audio output of any device capable of outputting audio via a headphone jack or audio port that can be adapted to a 3.5mm jack you can use the Auxiliary in port.
When an iPod type device plugs in to the USB port it operates much like a Navigation radio with a GM Personal Audio Link device (PAL) installed in the car and gives over control of the touchscreen to the mp3 playback audio functions.
The other vehicles without navigation radio have the existing auxiliary in port on the face of the radio (single in-disc and 6 disc changers) and do not have the USB port or 3.5mm jack in the console.
