Former Vendor
operates off the XM band of the radio
as long as the XM portion of the radio was activated by the dealer during setup its fine. We have had only 2 cars that this was not done during dealer prep
simpl trip to dealer and problem solved

I have been looking for an option for my 08 Z06 with Bose and Nav, I think its completely stupid that GM put an aux jack on the cheap radio but left it off on the supposed upgrade.....
All I want to do is be able to hook up my android phone through a aux jack. Now if any of these solutions add bluetooth so I can use that through the audio system that would be even better
Any ideas?
Thanks

normally yes
like mentioned we have only come across 2 cars that it was not done during dealer prep.
Once the radio was programmed the ISGM575 kit worked just fine

I am an Ipod user and on my Avalanche I also use the Aux jack for the sound and the acc charger for the power. I found this messy and certainly will not use it in my coming C6.
I want my console to be clean and my solution is I loaded up my playlists on separate CD's using MP3 songs. I can put in up to 140 songs in each CD and 4 will suit me fine. This will give me hours of select music. I have a hard time seeing the Ipod screen while driving so switching the Discs is much easier and safer. The player will also read all your songs and you can select albums and artists or just play random songs.
If you have the 6 CD changer thats even better. Now all I need is my C6!!!!
