Push brake pedal get a click sound?
Just noticed today that when I push on the brake pedal it makes a clicking sound over near the fuse panel. Not sure if it just started making this noise or its been that way since I got it. Have had the fuse out for the dual mode exhaust and just put it back in last night, so its quite now. Is this a normal sound?

It's just the brake light relay.....relax
(also, you might hear the P shift interlock solenoid as well if the car is running)

Man, I love this forum!! I just got a few moments to bond with my new Z and was worried about two things so far....This annoying "click" each time I depressed the brake pedal. I was so worried, I wrote to Tim at Boardwalk before I checked the forum. I should have known better to check here first and I wish the dealership rectified any TSBs and Recalls prior to shipment. Anyways, now I know that is an easy fix.....
Second issue I was worried I received no master key in the event the battery died, how I would get in the vehicle. Well, reading the owners manual cured that. The master key is inside the fob! Awesome. 1 down, 1 to go.....

I always thought the clicking was normal and learned to ignore it. Now I need to check if it has the wrong relay.

Breaking News
Hey all,
I took my 2012 to the dealer last friday for an oil change and while there, I had him check out my clicking brake light relay. Long story short, since my 2012 already had the "correct" relay installed, he did nothing to attempt to mitigate that unnerving "click, click" everytime I step on and release the brake pedal.
Now I understand this is "normal", and I guess I will live with it, but I will say that I have purchased scores of vehicles over the course of my life and not a one ever "clicked" when I stepped on the brake...

Does anyone have a Part Number for this Brake Pedal Relay or, an aftermarket relay that stifled the issue? First it's valve issues. Now it's brake relay switches. Who made this Corvette, LEGO?

Curiosity killed the cat so.....
I pulled the passenger mat up and carefully peeled back the floor carpet to expose the pasenger side fuse panel. Low and behold, there is the 1" x 1.5" Brake Relay staring you straight in the face.
2013 Z: Mine was GM Part #13500114.
Pulled the fuse to find that it indeed has 4 Prongs. Will be looking into the 5 Prong Relay suggestion.
If you are experiencing this issue, please post up your year Corvette and if you checked, the Part NUmber (P/N) on your Brake Relay Switch.
If you are NOT experiencing this issue, it could help the rest of us as well if you verified if you have a 4 or 5 prong relay and the associated P/N.
Thanks
